Resisted Stretching Sessions with Suzanne

Resisted Stretching is a system of myofascial realignment that opens up the body to new movement possibilities. The stretches are connected to the meridians, similar to those used in Acupuncture, to clear blockages and create renewed power in movement. During each session you will be physically stretched by Suzanne Astar, a massage therapist and Pilates instructor, to maintain alignment and while improving your body’s ability to open. The session will feel both like a workout and a release. It is deeply invigorating and can restore mobility as well as strength. Resisted Stretching can also reduce or remove pain, increase physical resilience, increase creativity and neuroplasticity. Loose clothing is appropriate for each session as a well as a curiosity in improving movement quality. Typical session is 90 minutes depending on your goals.
